What is Mnemodynamics? Developed by Sue Washington in the late 1960's as part of her psychotherapy practice; in the 1990's it became known as Mnemodynamics when Sue used her experience and skills to train new therapists in the technique. It is a process of healing abuse, regrets, and inappropriate choices that keep you in the past, stopping you from living in the moment.

Our initial belief system is a product of our past external environment, created by our five senses, which inform our thinking, creating out thoughts, which then  determine  our experiences, reinforcing our belief system, influencing behaviour and personality. Past events may not have seemed significant at the time, or perhaps they were, nevertheless, whatever influenced the signals coming into your body through your senses influenced you. If you have not dealt with any past negative issues, then you carry them into adulthood, influencing your behaviour from events of the past. Before long your behaviour becomes a habit, and you feed your habit with more of what is.

At Mind For Life we have a unique programme that has helped many people  change their lives for the better permanently. The corner-stone of the programme is the in-house development of the iCBT process, which is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. iCBT aims to help clients to deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by educating the client through structured workbook reading and written exercises. It provides structured education and the latest understanding on how the human mind works. iCBT includes unique techniques to control and eliminate negative thoughts, teaching meditation, and how to reset past traumas, providing guidance to beneficially change behaviour.

We often use Mnemodynamics because the process helps to release the emotions and connections to the past, allowing negative memories to be healed. This powerful process is a tool used by Mind For Life in connection with the Dynamic Thought Transfer Process to empower clients to make positive changes in their life.

Mnemodynamics does not remove memories it qualifies past memories that cause pain in the present, and allows individuals to stop past memories from limiting their present and future potential. It is a process that helps to heal past experiences so individuals can live in the present and not have their lives dominated by past events.

We do not have any magic formulas or special powers, we do not tell people how to live their lives …what we do is guide, teach, support, and encourage; if the client fully participates in the programme, then they will develop enthusiasm and curiosity about this Earth Experience, valuing health.  Every person who has fully participated in the programme has created new opportunities in their lives … without exception.
